Europe Timeline- 9/11
I am writing about 9/11. Even though this was a major catastrophe in America, the impact of this effect did impact Europe majorly. After the events of 9/11 Europe went on high alert. Also you have seen major changes on security in Europe. It is much more difficult to get into the contrys. The security is even worse flying internationally then just around the country. Not all of the security processes that Europe went through actually worked though becuase as you have seen in the news all the recent bombings in Europe. This world problem showed that even though people like to think that the world isn't really in unison it really is.

Currently the country of Darfur is under attack from goverment, rebel and military forces. They have been under attack for over 2 years now. Darfur is located is Sudan, Africa. The sudan liberation movement and Justice and equality movement is trying to help but their efforts are not paying off. My Favorite place <3
Soo.....I haven't traveled to many places but I do really like traveling. Here are some of the places I have gone:
Norway- I went when I was 6 and it was really fun. My great aunt lives there and we were going to visit her. It was the middle of the summer and it was freezing! It was interesting that some houses had moss on the roofs of them. I know this is wierd but the most famous place in norway is Vigeland Park which is a park with statues of naked people everywhere!!
Sanibel Island- I went to Sanibel this past summer and it was really fun!! The condos that we stayed at were right on the beach. When we went we didn't find many sand dollars but we found lots of amazing shells. My favorite part of this trip was when I went on a guided kayak tour in the John Ding Darling bird sanctuary. It was so much fun...on that tour I saw a dolphin, manitee and an alligator!
California- I have gone to california once. It was fun but we only stayed there for like 3 days. We went there for my parents to visit old friends so we didn't do much exploring but let me tell you....San Francisco is so cold! Even in the summer!
Hawaii- I went to Hawaii last summer and it was by far the best vacation I have been on. The flight was a little too long for me....we took a 6 hour flight to California then a 5 hour flight to Hawaii...11 hours on a plaine is a long time people!! We stayed to the island of Oahu, we stayed in Haleiwa for one week and then in Honolulu for another week. In Haleiwa we stayed with my aunt and cousin in a More house. I really liked waking up every morning at like 7:00 am in Hawaii but like 12:00 pm in NJ! But I also liked that I could see the ocean from the house and we lived at the very top of a very steep hill and if you looked out all you could see was the ocean! I also liked waking up to the scent almost knowing your in a tropical paradise and that the air is so clean there. It was really nice spending time with family too of course! We went to a lot of local beaches and that was nice...we tried to go snorkling but everyday we went the surf was too rough and kept dragging us out. One day we met a big local family on the beach and they were soo nice. We really got a taste of the local life and not the big city life, I liked that. I really liked climbing to the top of the unactive volcano! So now you know my current favorite place:D.
Sorry I write too much! One last thing.... the coordinates for Haleiwa are 21* N and 185* W.

About Me <3
Heyy! Welcome to my blog! My name is Isabella and I’m freshman in High School. I was previously in Sociology but it was kind of boring so I decided to switch out. My other option was Geography and Jessie was in the class so I’m here now! I took geography in 7th grade and really liked it so I think this class will be a lot of fun too.
Ok… now about me...I love art…like Photography, Ceramics, Drawing (pretty much more doodling though), Jewelry making, and Fashion Design. I absolutely LOVE to cook and will cook anything and everything. I wish I could have been in the culinary arts class but oh well everyone wanted it(those lucky peoples!), I'll try again next year. I like to read…(yes...for fun too! I don't really like reading school books because they are all so boring!). My favorite book is Chasing the Storm by Norman Ollestad (It's actually a memoir but it has a lot of action in it!). Oh, and I like one series called 39 Clues.(I actually like a lot of series's but that's the one that I liked the most). I also like mystery books. I really want to read the book Swimsuit that came out this year and it's a mystery book.
Um…other hobbies I enjoy are a lot of outdoor sports; like Rock Climbing, Hiking. Kayaking, Softball, Soccer, Tae-Kwon-Do, Swimming, Skiing, Snowboarding, Surfing (I really want to do something really crazy and fun one day like white water rafting, sky diving or bungee jumping!). I like hanging out with my friends and of course going shopping(but i'm not overly obsessed with shopping)! I also love being with my family. I am an only child but my dad has 5 brothers so I have a big, close family. More about me.... I love dance! (I know i'm wierd!) I also really like to travel, I haven't gone very many places but my grandparents have traveled all around the world.
What else... I was born in the Bronx (if anyone finds that interesting that I was born outside the state). I know this isn’t really about me but it’s one of the things that has effected my life the most, it was when my dad was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer. Last June he was officially cleared 2 years in remission!
Soo that's my life!! :D
